How Cadence Sensors Work with SitZip

How the Sensor Works

You attach a small cadence sensor to your bike pedal. As you ride, the sensor counts your full pedal rotations and sends this data wirelessly to your phone.

How SitZip Tracks Your Movement

Our app takes that sensor data to track your fitness. We record your pedal strokes and your active pedaling time. We then combine this with your set resistance level, weight, and height to calculate accurate speeds, times, and calories burned.

which sensor should you buy?

All cadence sensors communicate in the same way. You can easily find them at local bike stores, sporting goods shops, and online retailers. The best brands for a reliable connection are Garmin, Wahoo, and Decathlon.

Note that cheaper brands can work as well, but you may experience reliability issues like dropped connections.
